Soprano Bozena Ferancova graduated from the Academy of Musical Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia.
After graduating, she was a participant in various masterclasses in Italy: Siena, Parma and Busseto in opera classes of Maestro Carlo Bergonzi, where she received the award for best student and the opportunity to perform at theTeatro Regio in Parma in G. Puccini's opera Gianni Schicchi as Lauretta.
Bozena Ferancova also completed masterclasses with Jelena Obrazcova and Badri Maisuradze. She is a laureate and winner of many international singing competitions: Slovakia – 1st prize in Schneider-Trnavsky singing competition, Prague – International Dvořák competition for opera singers: first prize and absolute winner, Busseto - laureat at Voci Verdiane.
Bozena Ferancova performs at home and abroad on opera stages and on concert stages. ( Austria, Hungary, Poland, Italy, Spain, Estonia, Russia, Georgia, Czech Republic, China, Japan etc. )
In 1990 she became a soloist at the opera of the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava and currently she is a guest soloist at the Janáček Opera in Brno and the State Opera in Prague .
Bozena Ferancova is a vocal teacher at the State Conservatory and the Academy of Arts in Bratislava.
Her students include winners of many international singing competitions and they sing at important opera houses and on various international concert stages.

From 2019 – 2021 she was very activ working in Russia – teaching at Gnessinych Academy of Music in Moscow, she also did coaching of various singers from Bolshoi Theatre, did masterclass at academy of D.Hvorostovsky in Krasnoyarsk and also as a vocal coach in the new production of Don Giovanni by Mozart in 2021
This year she is preparing the 9th International singing interpretation masterclass in Slovakia together with conductor- Peter Feranec.
Bozena Ferancova is currently preparing her new profile CD with guitarist Miriam Rodriguez Brüll.

Due the international situation she has left Russia in April 2022 and moved to Rome.
